Chevrolet Owner Service Policy

The 53-58 owner service policy was one of the documents that was supplied to the original owner when he picked up his new vehicle. It was a trifold document containing the warranty and service information.

It would have the owners name, address, serial number of car, selling dealership, and would contain the critical engine serial number and the assembly date of the engine. This was one of the best ways to validate the drive train on the 1950′s Chevrolet corvette and other Chevrolet owner service policy. It  would have a tear out 1000 mile coupon that would be redeemed at the dealership and sent to GM for there records when servicing was performed… being back in the 50′s GM vehicles only came supplied with a 90 day warranty so many of the coupons still remained intact in there respective service policies when papers were found.  This is a very desireable document to possess .
