63-67 corvette owner kits were a Chevrolet “welcome aboard” compliment promotional kit that was mailed out to exclusively to select corvette owners. These were supplied from the L.G Blafor Jewelery company. The owner would tear out and mail in a coupon located on the first page of the corvette glove box operators manual.
This kit contained a 18 karat gold label pin in a small little blue plastic jewelry box, a personalized letter signed by the president of Chevrolet, a wool Chevrolet corvette 3inch jacket patch, a personalized plastic identification card which had a serial number owners name and a key number embossed on it, a copy of corvette news, a magazine highlighting Chevrolet Corvette new from the hobby, a colorful folder which all their pieces came in. This was all mailed in a matching Chevrolet corvette postmarked envelope.
Chevrolet would also mail out later to the corvette owners that mailed in the coupon a colorful “Gordon B. Miller” adventure in corvette gift accessory and price list of special Chevrolet promotional products exclusively available such as tie clips, woman’s scarfs, driving gloves, picnic blankets, even a start/stop timer and speed pilot to name a few highly sought after being few corvette owners took advantage of this offer and the few that did.
Most of the kits were lost or broken or sold away from the respective cars. Cars having these kits intact and shown at places like Bloomginton Gold bring huge crowds attention and acclimation.
