The protect-o-plate that we manufacture for you is absolutely dead on correct to the original in absolutely every way, We start with nos(original new old stock) chevrolet addressograph plate,books are from old recycled literature, plate has the word addressograph etched into left hand end of plate as did the original ,when we produce your protect-o-plate the characters on the plate are the exact font as the original plates used …the plate you order will have your cars information embossed on it using original circa 1960′s addressograph embossing machines as general motors used . The dymo tape we use is nos chevrolet dymo tape and has the GM blue logo printed on it as was used originally from 1966-1972 ,The original owner’s name, address, city,state along with the original selling date is embossed into the tape using an original GM reverse writing dymo tape writer ,after the information is embossed into the dymo tape it will then be will then be affixed onto the metal embossed protectoplate .The plate is affixed to the booklet using correct light brown double sided tape as GM used back in the 60′s. The booklets are dealer stamped using correct circa alcohol based inks in the correct circa colors available back in the 60′s.All inks are faded and distressed. The last page of the owners protection plan booklet will have the imprint of your plate inked into it using the correct addressograph ribbon imprinting machine as chevrolet would have used. Every detail is meticulously incorporated into the production of both your protect-o-plate as well as your owner protection plan booklet …..These are the finest documents available on the planet.
